After registering for Aadhaar number by giving your biometric details you would have received Aadhaar paper card by post from UIDAI. Apart from that card you can also download PDF version (E-Aadhaar File) of the same from UIDAI portal https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/. This pdf version of your Aadhaar is called E-Aadhaar file. You can save this to your computer or phone and upload to www.pvcaadhaar.in to order for PVC cards.
You can visit https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ to download E-Aadhaar pdf file. If you have Aadhaar number already and your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar then you can select Aadhaar option.
As mentioned above you can also download E-Aadhaar through your Enrollment ID as well. In case if you have lost your Enrollment receipt as well then the only option is to update Mobile number with UIDAI and download after the mobile number is updated. Alternatively you can visit any Aadhaar enrollment center near your place and get the E-Aadhaar file by giving your biometric authentication and also update your Aadhaar with your current mobile number. Yes. If you have been allocated the number but not received physical copy then you can use Enrollment receipt to download E-Aadhaar file.
