How to take appointment for enrolment of aadhaar card online?

If you are busy enough that you don’t have time to wait for your turn to come for your aadhaar card enrolment procedure to be started, there is an option which can help you. Unique Identification Authority of India has already started the facility of advance booking for your appointment in order to start the enrolment procedure. UIDAI has started this facility of taking appointment online for enrolment on trial basis in some selected states of India.

If the implementation of online appointment is successful, then the government is thinking to start the online appointment system in other states of India as well. For now, UIDAI has started the online appointment system in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Apart from the facility to make appointments for aadhaar enrolments, people can cancel or re schedule their appointments as per their ease.

 If you wish to make an appointment for aadhaar enrolment, you need to fill up an online registration form which will carry your details like e-mail id, contact number, state, city, whether living in rural or urban area, the nearest enrolment centre to your place, suitable date and time you wish for the enrolment. At max, only four people can confirm for their appointment. After you have filled all the details asked on the form, just click on “Fix Appointment” button so that your appointment is confirmed.

After you have submitted your application for aadhaar enrolment you will get appointment slip which will have your token number and details of schedule for your aadhaar card enrolment. The appointment slip which you receive will contain enrolment centre details, enrolment date and time, appointment fixed for number of people, registrars name and the contact details of the person you should contact at enrolment centre. After verifying all the details, take the print out of the appointment slip and carry it with you to the enrolment centre. Along with the slip you need to carry certain documents with you which can verify your date of birth, identity, house address. Other documents that you need to carry with you at the enrolment centre are mentioned on the appointment slip. If you want to re schedule your appointment or cancel it, you can do that as per your convenience.
